So Tumblr has been great, but I think I’m gong to move over to another site. Its on my own domain (k, not mine per say, as dad did all the hard work and is actually rating for it, thanks dad!) and I am using Wordpress, which has a lot more functionality that here. Although I do like the minimalist form of Tumblr, so I may be back. Until then, check out my new site at http://paul.winch.cc.

Mother nature can be a cruel birch sometimes. Like when she decides to throw something at us that shuts the power down. Luckily it was only down for about 10 mins at the office, but that was net enough time for the shock to wear off and IT to get kicked onto gear and let remote offices know we are down. The real kicker with today is that something extra went wrong and it is taking us longer than normal to get things back to normal. Never a dull moment in IT.

I have scored my 5th career goal! It may not seem like a lot considering we play every week for most of the yeR, and I’ve been playing for 2 years. But I think its pretty good considering I mainly play defence, and I had never played before joining this team.
Unfortunately it wasn’t enough tonight, as we tied our game at 5. We played very well though, getting lots of good shots in. And most importantly, we had lots of fun.
For the past 2 weeks I have had to miss ballhockey, but not tonight! I am looking forward to getting back out there! Hopeful we can pull off a win tonight!

Sitting at the office in the lunch room, next to 3 of the ladies in accounting. All they are doing is exchanging stories and proclaiming “oh my god!” at everything. It’s starting to get really annoying! The stories aren’t even that interesting.
