Bulldogs Ball Hockey, Winter Season, Game 7 and 8
Last night was our turn to play 2 games in one night. Our first game was at 7, and out second game was at 9, at the same location.
Our first game was a good one, playing against the team that was in second position overall. It was a tough one, but we managed to come out on top with a win. I can’t remember the score, but I think it was a close game. We had plenty of people, so we had lots of short shifts, which made things better.
In between games, we decided to eat, but figured we wouldn’t be able to make it anywhere, eat, then back again in under an hour, so Colin made a run to Swiss Chalet and picked up a bunch of chicken, coleslaw, fries and buns. We stayed outside, eating off the back of Katherine’s car. It was a good meal, but probably not the best thing to eat before heading back in to play our seconf game.
The second game was also a good one, against the number 1 team this time. Despite our meal, we still played very well. We were up most of the time, but the other team came back during the second half to tie it up. We did a good job of holding them back, but one of their shots was sort of blocked by Adam, but managed to bounce off of him into the net. That was in the last 5 minutes, and we jsut weren’t able to get that goal back. Despite the loss, it was still a great game.
